Now that all of the turkey leftovers have been pitched, it’s about that time to get out your jolly jolly and spread some holiday cheer!
Go grab a tree, ornaments or other greenery to make your apartment look extra snazzy! My favorite place to pick up the holiday goods is between 18th and 19h on 2nd Ave. It’s called Soho Trees, and the best part about them is that they’re open 24 hours from now until when Old Saint Nick jams through town!
Bergdorf’s snowy birds pose for a glamorous shot in the ice
Not down to mess up your place with excess twigs? Ho Ho Ho it uptown to see the merry window displays at some of my favorite department stores. Click here for a complete list!
Barneys shows off Lady Gaga’s Boudoir, which is made entirely of wig hair {for her love of fake blond coiffure of course!}
Oh, but wait! While you’re viewing Barney’s displays, make sure not to miss “Gaga’s Workshop” inside! This Lady Gaga-themed version of Santa’s headquaters will contain about 170 products, including chocolate “Poker Face” chips {so Gaga!}, and 25% of all proceeds from the workshop will be donated to Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.
But why travel that far uptown without seeing the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree? Grab some hot chocolate, a comfy significant other, and barge your way through the tourists looking at the tree in awe. It’s so worth it, and will be an out of the box night date to remember!
This is the quintessential NYC way to kick off December. Happy Weekend! B+H
