Trying to get all of your bunnies in a row early for Easter this year? I sure am! With leaving for Los Angeles on Thursday, I decided to get ahead and hop on over to a Paper Source store outside the city to see if they had any fun trinkets I could make {rather than handing out ordinary cards!} for my friends and family before I scooted out of the city! Thanks to the help of Sarah {a Paper Source rep!}, our crafty minds created some Easter lovin’ with my favorite Tiffany blue. Best part? The process is so simple! Hippity hop on over to your closest paper store y’all!
Supplies Needed:
- Take Out Favor Boxes {I used Pool color}
- Bunny & Any Floral Stamp
- Versamark Stamp Pad
- White Embossing Powder
- Silver or White Brads
- Fine Tip Glue Pen
- Crystal Glitter
- 1-inch Satin Ribbon
- Embossing Heat Gun {not shown above}
Step One:
Press Bunny stamp into Versamark Pad and stamp onto the Take Out Box on the two rectangular sides.
Sprinkle White Embossing Powder on both bunnies and shake off.
Press the floral stamp into the Versamark Pad and stamp onto all four corner sections of the takeout box. Dust with the White Embossing Powder.
With an Embossing Heat Tool, slowly move over your stamped areas until each section becomes a beautiful embossed white. This takes about 30-45 seconds!
Your box is now beautifully embossed and ready to fold!
Fold your box {according to package directions} and attach the sides with a brad. I selected a matte silver brad, but a pool, white, pink or green brad would have been equally fabulous!
What’s a bunny without grass? Sarah at the Paper Source used a glue pen to draw grass on each side of the bunny and dusted crystal glitter on top!
Viola! How cute and perfect does this grass look!
Slide your satin ribbon under the box flap and tie up in a bow.
The finished boxes! All ready to fill with a fabulous piece of candy, macaron or even money!
