For years, I’ve always looked forward to October not just because it’s one of the prettiest months in New York, but because of Halloween being right around the corner. Cocktail parties, costume planning, and the well anticipated…carving pumpkins! But, this year I was curious to do something a little bit different. Instead of getting messy and consuming far too many roasted pumpkin seeds, I decided to buy pumpkins and simply spray paint them…metallic. Bring on the bling!
It’s surprisingly easy. All you need is newspaper to place the pumpkins on, metallic spray paint, and Martha Stewart’s metallic glaze! Bedazzling pumpkins is a great way to get some friends together, sip apple cider, and enjoy the beautiful weather we’ve had recently.
The metallic babes will instantly take your place to a hip level, whether you place them on your desk, mantel, or outside your front door! But, why pitch them after Halloween? Save them! They will make a fabulous centerpiece at your next holiday dinner party.
Bring on the bling!
