I love anything sweet, and I absolutely love anything simply elegant. When you combine the two…Well, all this girl would have to say is “qui, qui!”
On a recent trip to Vermont, I found this oh so divine restaurant called Starry Night Cafe in a quaint town called Ferrisburgh {near Middlebury!}. Although the food is always spectacular in this area with it being farm to table style, I was excited to discover a Chocolate Martini on Starry Night Cafe’s dessert drink menu. Its crazy delicious, and I obviously had to find out what the recipe was to share with Bonjour + Hola readers!
I decided to ask for the recipe from the bartender, and take it to the test at home. Let’s just say this drink is phenomenal for a girls night in, a cheerful greeting to your guests, or a sweet ending to a fabulous night.
This Chocolate Martini will hit the spot…plus, it’s incredibly easy to make {recipe below}! And with NY Fashion Week being over until early next year, all I have to say is… “Why not?”
Chocolate Martini
Stoli Vanil Vodka, Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, & Godiva Original Chocolate Liquor
Place equal parts of the above in a martini shaker with ice. Shake it until your hands are so cold you can’t shake anymore! Strain into a chilled martini glass and top with shaved dark chocolate.
Chocolate, shaken not stirred, please!
