Everyone wants to feel like a princess on their birthday. Why not? You get the spotlight once a year and you want to shine! Here are my tips to throw you or a friend a simple, yet fabulous, birthday party for a few girls before a nice dinner or night out on the town.
-Pick out their favorite color and enhance it throughout the venue. Add small touches such as a pearls through pink confetti to make it special.
-Individually write each guests’ name on place cards, and set them in from of their champagne glass.
-Prepare a few appetizers that aren’t difficult to make. The last thing you want is to not enjoy the party yourself!
Here are my favorite simple appetizers to feature:
Creamed Brie cheese with carrots and pita chips to spread on
Pita bites with warm Brie and a little honey drizzled on top
Edamame hummus {my favorite!}
Drink of choice? If you want to splurge for the special day, then buy a bottle of Moet, but if you want to keep the costs down then stick to Prosecco and proceed to order Prosecco while out after the party. Its much cheaper and most people can barely tell the difference…especially after a few!
