The next chocolate shop we stumbled upon was that of Aeschbach Chocolatier. Now, if you grew up in the States this probably isn’t a company you received in your holiday baskets, but for many Swiss-born natives, this is the place to get your brew. Oh, how I couldn’t wait to enter the gates of this chocolatier! Hola.
Located on a little cobble stoned hill, Aeschbach Chocolatier welcomes its clients from the moment you look at their detailed windows. Filled with chocolates of the season {I spotted bunches of sailboats and shells!}, the creativity you sense before you even walk into their doors is out of this world!
A wonderwall of chocolate aroma filled the air as we walked inside and my eyes moved directly to the Aeschbach’s sales-chocolatier cutting away. Little did I know these little plump squares were actually Aeschbach’s most popular chocolate: Grappalinos.
These fluffy dollops of joy are the ideal Swiss treat to give as a gift or even to wind down your next dinner party {post dessert}!
Not only was I overwhelmed with the chocolate all around me, but the attention to detail was also noted. Between the colors, the packaging and the products inside, Aeschbach has flat got it down when trying to please the recipients of their gifts!
Not into the frou-frou? No problem. Another favorite I pranced straight over to was their chocolate box of truffles. Trying to please a lover, anyone? Hola.
You can also handpick the truffles you desire…don’t mind if I do! Obviously, I had to partake in the madness head on…
Aeschbach Chocolatier is the perfect go-to if you’re searching for the ideal gift to give your loved ones or even a future hostess with the mostest. But don’t be shy, sampling is one you must do at this shop! B+H
