Although I’ve been beyond spoiled with having my all-time favorite caramel macarons of heaven just a quick hoppity skip from Casa Blanca on the Upper East, I now have a new + sweet reason to venture down below 14th. Oh, yes. Why? You make ask? Well hunny, Ladurée has brought a new type of European flair to Soho, and I couldn’t wait to run into their delicate doors for not only a bag of their sinful sweets, but to sit and have a leisurely afternoon of their epic menu on my day off. Chica was all smiles! Hola.
Filled with all things sweet + savory + everything in between, Ladurée Soho is one of those places that just makes you happy. With the cheerful colors + Francais staff, the whole experience makes you feel like you’re definitely not in the fast paced city of New York. And yes, they even bring the slow service into this villa too. But honestly, I enjoyed myself way too much to complain! Live + savor every moment y’all.
hola.
When the menu was placed in front of me, I immediately requested a warm jasmin green tea to wake me up a bit post SoulCycle + to have something to sip on while I made up my mind on what to indulge into! Of course, the first request was four caramel macarons. No need to question this girl about having those bad boys.
I was craving something savory fresh as well, so I pointed straight to their smoked salmon salad. And yes, it tasted just as fabulous as it looks on the plate! #glowingskin
With two dining rooms and a back bar in addition to the front cafe area, Ladurée Soho is one not to miss. And whether you’re with a group or just hanging out solo one afternoon, this place houses everything to fulfill all tummy requests! Luxuriously, of course. Happy Weekend xx
