Known for its rapidly growing wine industry, Napa Valley is filled of all things culinary and chic…not to mention rich of rocky soils, endless vineyards and of course, sinfully delicious and smooth wines! But, what many don’t realize is its family-built history, hard work put into growing such iconic brands and most importantly, the wine industry trailblazers who have been trained to the cork to continue evolving the legacy of Napa and Sonoma. Which is where my fabulous roommate from college, Chelsea Prince, vines on in! Hola.
rock and vine author, chelsea prince
Showcasing eleven unforgettable stories, author Chelsea Prince and photographer Mary Steinbacher have created Rock and Vine: Next Generation Changemakers in America’s Wine Country, which reveals the lives and innovations of next generation change makers in California’s wine country. From Joe Wagner of Wagner Family Made Wines to Dalia Ceja of Ceja Vineyards, this book is one not to miss and is filled of all things full-bodied with a plumy touch, of course! Oh, how I love the wines of Napa Valley.

Rock and Vine has tied in a stellar charity called Wine to Water, which is a non-profit organization focused on providing clean water to people in need around the world. Best part? A portion of every book purchased will be donated to Wine to Water!
The Rock and Vine team recently came through NYC to host a launch party, and it was such a treat to finally see Chelsea and hear about this amazing endeavor she’s created of giving us all a true taste of Napa’s next generation, but also helping others while in the process. From Meiomi {one of my favorite vinos…ever} reps to wine editors galore, this launch party was truly a fantastic way to spread the Rock and Vine word! Bonjour.
Whether you’re a total vino {like moi} or just want to purchase a fabulous book for an amazing cause, check out Rock and Vine: Next Generation Changemakers in America’s Wine Country. It’s the perfect way to help others…one vine at a time! B+H
