Right when I thought my first annual Singles Valentine’s Party had all come into place, there was one sweet touch I knew was missing from the completing the soirée checklist. Cupid treats! Not fretting a sweat, I contacted the guru of all things lovely & sweet in this era: Ashley Foxen. Writer of the amazing blog, Reality Bites Cupcakes, Ashley has taken this city by storm from showing us her creative baking abilities {say hola to her sushi, bagels and comfort food cupcakes…just to name a few!} to even being featured as “Gourmet’s Blog Of The Week.” Hola!
After I contacted and booked Ashley to bake some “yummy Valentine’s munchies,” I faced the unfortunate devil of this season: the flu. Oh yes, yours truly has been sick as a dog for the past couple of days and still can’t nix this crud! But when I approached my door after testing positive for the influenza I could have easily dismissed by the one shot I forgot to get, and saw these fabulous cheesecake hearts sitting on my doorstep, my frown literally turned upside down! I had to post about these chicas ASAP.

Although I didn’t serve these at my what was supposed to be like a Halston-esque apartment soirée with it being cancelled, these lovely bites will satisfy your guests this week in any fashion! But you better hurry and book Ashley for multiple batches (for this holiday or many more to come!)…these sweet treats taste just as fabulous as they look! They totally deserve a Bonjour, too.
