While wandering down Christopher Street, popping my head into pup stores and smelling ancient scents at spice boutiques, I couldn’t help but notice the coolest sign on the block that read: Uncorked.
Opening earlier this year, Uncorked has officially taken the NYC wine shopping experience to the next level! Between the fabulous decor and wines housed in this shop, I couldn’t wait to hear everything and more about Uncorked!
Luckily the manager & owner, Paul, was in Uncorked while I was there! My first question to him was, “I absolutely love this store, but what makes it different from other wine boutiques in the city?” Paul couldn’t have been more pleasant and open to share all the Uncorked deets!
For starters, Uncorked is the only wine shop in the city that actually lets you taste the wines before purchasing! Hola. There’s another place in Union Square that has a similar tasting routine, but it doesn’t remotely compare to the forty wines offered in Uncorked’s tasting area!
Heading straight to a party from the store, but the wine isn’t chilled to perfection? Yikes to the max! Well, thanks to Uncorked you will be ready to go in no time. They have the coolest of the cool contraption that literally chills any wine within three minutes!
