Simply Recover With Simply PB

Burning over 800 calories in Barry’s Bootcamp? You better bet I’m going to want {plus my body needs!} protein right after…pronto! But if you’re anything like me, fueling up on more calories than burned post workout so ain’t my thing. That’s why I’m totally obsessed with a smoothie called Simply PB. Hola!

Housed inside Barry’s Bootcamp {at all of their locations!}, is this awesome recharge jam called Fuel Bar. After talking to Derek {behind the Fuel Bar!} about which smoothie was right for me {sans bulk}, he concluded that their Simply PB was the best choice! Only 200 calories? Plus it taste like a peanut butter dream? Yes, please! And from the moment I slurped my first sip I was completely won over.

It turns out one of Barry’s Bootcamp staff members named Sammy actually created the Simply PB too! But what if you don’t have a Fuel Bar like this near you? Their team was kind enough to share the recipe with B+H!

Sammy’s Simply PB Protein Shake

Ingredients:
6 ounces of original unflavored almond milk
1 scoop of frozen bananas {1/2 of a banana}
2 tablespoons of Better’n Peanut Butter {purchased at Trader Joe’s}
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder {Barry’s uses Nature’s Best: Zero Carb Isopure Whey Protein}
