With today marking the final day of my new Nashville go-to’s, I just had to save my favorite way to “wine down” this summer for last! It’s called RED Spirits & Wine, and this place has been the talk about town with its recent opening earlier this year…hola!
Located on the tip of Bellevue and five minutes from Belle Meade, RED Spirits & Wine is the new hip {and convenient!} spot for everyone!
Ed Fryer, manager of RED Spirits & Wine
Ed Fryer, RED’s General Manager {aka wine & liquor genius}, has created not only a hip spirits store but a complete experience for its customers, which is why RED has become the spot to load up on all the good stuff!
Not only does this place have a cool logo, innovative technology {iPads galore for looking up wine reviews!} and the cream of the crop liquors and wines housed inside, but their friendly staff consistently welcomes you as if you’re family! My faves?:
RED’s bourbons!
See the RED on the top label?
It marks that it’s the bourbon from the barrel that the RED’s team handpicked it in Kentucky! Hola.
Their wines!
I just about fell over when I saw they sold Francis Ford Coppola Zinfandel…if anyone knows anything about me, you know I always serve {and slurp!} that twirly full bodied label at parties!
One of my favorite times I pranced into RED was for their Skinnygirl Cocktails event {you know…Bethenny Frankel’s new line of liquor!}. And with RED’s cool tasting bar, I was allowed to taste any of her products before purchasing. Hola! But don’t let this event fool you…RED holds tons of events like this all the time and always on Friday & Saturday!
Looking for a cheap {ahem…free tasting events!} date before dinner with your special someone? A cool new spot to show off to your friends before partying? Or just looking for the best spot to pick up the good stuff before popping bottles til the wee hours at a dinner party? Head on over to RED Spirits & Wine…once you become a REDhead you don’t turn back! Not in Nashville? Follow RED on Facebook or Twitter!
It’s the liquor store REDefined!
