Today is a very exciting day…it’s Bonjour + Hola’s 1st birthday! And wow…what an unforgettable year it has been!

But, there is one company that has fueled {literally} Bonjour + Hola to get all around town…on time and in style! It’s called Uber.
Gotten the perfect blowout, walk out of the salon into pouring down rain and no cab to be found? In a hurry to get home after work to primp before a date, but no yellow lights are on with it being rush hour? Down in West Village on a Saturday night wearing “car to curb” heels, but no open cabs in sight? Yep, I’ve been there…but, luckily I found Uber early on!
Not only are their prices reasonable, but Uber arrives in black car style: Mercedes, Lincoln Navigators, Escalades, etc! Plus, they open your door and my personal favorite? They often have gum, water and candy inside to make your ride more enjoyable! And let me tell you, this service has saved me every time.
Download the Uber iPhone / Android app {or sign up at uber.com for the SMS feature} for free, and let the magic begin. All you have to do is:
1. Open the app and locate yourself using GPS {or type in your address!}
2. Press “request pickup“
And bam! A map of where your future driver is and how long he is from you will show up {I’ve never waited over 5-10 minutes!}. Uber is the best service that’s hit this city!
Since Uber is totally cool, they have partnered with Bonjour + Hola to give all of you a gift in celebration of our first birthday! If you download their app (or sign up at uber.com) and enter the code BONJOURHOLA, you will receive $15 credit towards your first ride. Hurry though, the promo needs to be applied before the end of February. Once it is applied, it’s good forever! But trust me, you’ll want to ride as soon as you can.
