I don’t know about you, but there are some trends out there that just don’t look right on this Southern Belle! Let’s take the red lipstick trend…yes, that is one that you will never see me flaunt {I like classic pink lips with smokey eyes!}. But, that doesn’t mean I can’t add a little sassy red somewhere else to my fall wardrobe!
Thanks to Pour la Victoire, I completed my desired look of taking a sassy trend…to my soles! From shoes to bags, Pour la Victoire is always my go-to when trying to find the perfect accessories.
Pour la Victoire’s “Hadley” booties are oh so fabulous! And comfortable might I add… Not only did I walk around the city in these babies, but I successfully did not fall off this rock in Flatiron while posing for you B+H readers {photo above taken by Liz Weiner}!
Pour la Victoire’s co-owner and co-founder, Jay Adoni, graciously agreed to be interviewed for B+H readers:
What are your favorite PLV styles this fall?: Our favorite fall Pour La Victoire styles are the Irina 2, the Portia, and the Larkin. As well as the Venezia flats, which are newly made in Italy, and the booties, Agalia and Laisha.
What has been the best seller for PLV this season?: Our Fall line has as a whole has been retailing phenomenally, and the stand outs include the styles mentioned before. Our handbag collection is also having a tremendous season!
What do you suggest wearing with bootie style shoes?: Booties, we are seeing booties styled with tights, skinny jeans…even booties mixed with a girl wearing a short jean skirt and tights. A great bootie can be worn at work and into the night out.
Any exciting upcoming events / launches for PLV?: PLV will be participating at Lucky Shops, with a portion of the proceeds going to charity. Lucky Shops is always a fun, exciting event and great chance to meet our fans. We have some big projects in the works, but unfortunately I cannot talk about them just yet! I am superstitious that way.
Girls, you gotta have that class…but don’t you dare forget to bring out that sass this fall!
