In the Spotlight: Bari Cohn in Vermont

After living with this beautiful girl in London for a semester, the vibrant and outgoing, Bari Cohn, barely needs an introduction. She has an amazing reputation, is loved deeply by her friends, family and fabulous boyfriend, and is the the girl I always go to for advice…even on traveling! So, recently when I heard she went up to Manchester, Vermont I couldn’t help but ask for her to share with Bonjour + Hola her adventures of what she loved…enjoy!

Travelin’ Through the Eyes of…Bari Cohn

For my birthday weekend, my boyfriend and I drove north of NYC to take in the most abundant fall foliage, which is found in the mountains of Manchester, Vermont.

We drove through the historic town of Manchester to visit the Equinox Valley Nursery, which was a great way to enjoy the cool brisk fall day. It’s a little farm where they grow and sell fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, have a pumpkin patch, and a corn maze. We enjoyed going through the haunted corn maze, and the best part about it was that it’s only $3 to walk through!

While we were at Equinox Valley Nursery, the corn maze was our favorite part, but we also got to try homemade apple cider, eat fresh pumpkin seeds, and take in the scenery.

Our afternoons were spent at the Equinox Spa where we received fantastic massage treatments, and at night we had fabulous meals at The Reluctant Panther {my favorite were their pan-seared diver scallops} and Mulligan’s {we loved their burgers and lobster quesadillas!}.

We stayed at my house in Manchester, but there are tons of area hotels and boutique inns {The Dorset Inn and The Manchester Inn} that would make for the perfect getaway. The most famous place to stay in town is the Equinox Resort.

For anyone who wants to enjoy an easy get away, head up to Manchester, Vermont!  It’s a cinch to MapQuest and you’ll be there in about 4 hours….a perfect fall road trip!
