After traveling down South this past weekend, washing off my makeup with a fluffy white towel after a fun night out, and finding an exact replica imprint of my face on that once clean towel I thought to myself, “Wow…I am officially the worst house guest leaving my hostess’ towels looking like this!” So, I found the perfect way for me keep a flawless face, all towels clean, and my hosts happy.
Browsing the internet for a solution, I finally found these sophisticated, yet cheap washcloths on the Target website. They’re dark gray (no makeup stains!), and if you really want to “doll” them up you can even have “Make Up” monogrammed on them to make it super hip as suggested by style maven Martha Stewart in her Good Things for Organizing book.
They are easy to throw in a travel bag or in your bathroom for guests. Never will I ever break the “bring your own washcloth” rule consistently told to me by my mother growing up again. Thank you, Martha & momma!
